Change of naming scheme to protect the innocent (that’d be me)
When we last left our hero he had just finished “Lynne” and was feeling rather disappointed, but optimistic about the future. Since then there’s been a lot of action, although not quite in the way expected. Here’s the recap:
080704: No formal workout, but an hour of chasing kids around the trampoline, not to mention farmer’s walks with 15l water buckets to the mini-pool and assorted other frivolities.
080705: Busy day, but mind over matter. At 21.15 I headed outside, did a modified CFWU,
Samson stretch 20 seconds each foot
10xoverhead squats featuring a nice fence post I had lying around
10xpushups
10xbody rows
10xbench dips
10xbox jumps
10x leg swings front and back both feet.
then a scaled wod from 080701
Shoulder press 1-1-1-1-1 reps – 12-12-12-12-22kg
Push press 3-3-3-3-3 reps – 7-7-7-7-7kg
Push Jerk 5-5-5-5-5 reps – 7-7-7-2-2kg
All done with two dumbbells (weights reported are combined.) The push lifts are new for me, so I spent a lot of time practicing the moves before I started. I’m still getting them mixed up, need to practice more!
Four weeks off work, yay!
